What we do, matters
Aryavarta started with the core belief of enhancing people’s health through organic products. But as we entered markets, we soon adopted a new belief as well, benefit to farmers. Our products aren’t just good in taste and beneficial for health, but they also support nature and its people as a whole.
We understand that as an organisation focused on farm produce, we have a serious responsibility towards farmers and mother nature. We, who have inherited the core values of our ancient cultures, have vowed to uphold our values of giving back to nature and society. Our commitment extends to improving the lives of farmers and communities that we work with, through contributions that empower them.
Through our activities and campaigns, we’ve been able to make economic, social and environmental contributions.
Our Impact
Social Impact
By allowing farmers more opportunities to earn, work and sell, we uplift them on the social platforms by increasing basic standards of living. By imparting the knowledge and know-how of organic farming, we allow them to cultivate more crops without the necessity of artificial manure and chemicals, thereby further reducing the costs.
We work on the motto: Jai Jawan Jai Kisan, which was a slogan given by Former Prime Minister of India Late Shri Lal Bahadur Shashtri Ji
Farming Impact
Farmers form a core component in today’s society. Without a happy farmer, there can never be a satisfied nation. We provide farmers with not just a new market to explore and earn, but ways to learn, improve and advance on their crop skills. We help them lower the costs of farming, as well as increase their yield with the use of natural products freely available around them. By eliminating the need for middlemen, we directly close deals with farmers themselves, bringing them up to 35% more profit directly through cost reduction.
Environmental Impact
Through the “no-chemicals-use” policy of organic farming, we are ensuring a better environmental impact through crop cultivation. Artificial manure, chemicals, pesticides don’t just harm our food and body, they drastically affect the nature as well. The irrigation water mixed with these chemicals seeps underground into groundwater, polluting the drinking source of thousands of people. Further, these chemicals also end up in rivers, polluting the drinking source of millions of people residing along the banks of these major rivers. As such, switching to organic reduces the environmental harm caused by these chemicals.
Conclusion
While you might be switching to organic purely for a health basis, that isn’t the only thing that benefits from your switch. By switching to organic foods, you are helping thousands of farmers connected to us, and playing a key role in the fight for climate change by helping us save nature. Think about the massive impact that you’re making to this world. Go organic today!
